I joined PassFort in August 2019 as their first Site Reliability Engineer. This means my day to day responsiblities all revolve around ensuring reliable operation of the PassFort product - this could mean creating disaster recovery plans to protect us from platform failure, implementing new systems to protect our sensitive data, or extending our monitoring platform to ensure the right people are made aware of potential problems before they become disasters!

I was drawn to PassFort by their excellent workplace culture and use of cool new technologies, as well as the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting new company and define how our SRE team will work in the future.

Outside of work I like going to weird gigs, trying to grow vegetables on my balcony and caring for my collection of carniverous plants. It's kind of like having a pet, only you get way less sad when you accidentally kill them!
