Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in FinTech to join our fast growing startup.

At PassFort, we share a powerful vision to enable businesses & individuals to establish trust online. We currently do this by offering an Intelligent Risk Management (IRM) platform giving small-to-medium sized financial services companies the ability to manage regulation and risk in real-time. Our platform is designed to digitise, automate and streamline processes across all customer onboarding, compliance and audit activity. By better serving the needs of back office teams (whilst integrating with existing CRM systems used by front office teams) our clients save time, money, and complexity.

What you’ll be doing

You will own and manage the entire sales process from lead generation through to contract signature, involving subject matter experts where necessary to ensure our client has the best chance of winning every opportunity. You will take responsibility for the quality of all client presentations, proposals, win strategies, RFP’s, etc. and keep up to date information and reporting through our clients CRM system. You will be building strategic relationships with the client base to identify new initiatives as well as generate lead pipeline for new business.

You will regularly collaborate with internal stakeholders when ensuring that client needs and feedback are fed to our engineering teams or when assistance is needed for supporting various marketing endeavours (eg. conference participation, sales collateral production and client engagement).

You will constantly be involved with bettering our processes and be responsible for reporting of actual vs budgeted sales. You will play a grand part in all commercial and contract negotiations as well as generate new business leads by attending various industry events and conferences.

What we’re looking for

Ideally you will have experience selling into FCA Regulated firms and, in particular, have managed multi-stakeholder sales processes in organisations of up to 1,000 employees.  A good understanding of compliance, KYC or AML is one of the “musts” for the role. We are looking for you to have a proven track record of new business sales into FCA regulated firms and a current track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth.

This coupled with an extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices will make you great at lead generation, planning ahead and assessing own performance and that of the team.

Finally you will have superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal and a technical understanding of the product in order to propose and advise on services based on client requirements. Someone who prioritises effectively, sets goals and organises their workload would be a top performer in this role.
