UX/ Technical Writer
We’re looking for an experienced UX/Technical Writer to join our Design team.
PassFort gives regulated businesses the tools they need to automate and digitalise the onboarding, verification and management of their customers - that means customers can be onboarded in real-time, without ever having met in person. Our clients save time and money, reduce complexity and improve customer satisfaction.
Moody’s Analytics’ unparalleled expertise in risk, data and analytics mean PassFort is positioned now to serve an even broader range of risk assessment markets (eg. Credit, Cyber, Climate), and empower customers to make better, faster, decisions. We’re on an incredible growth trajectory, and you can have an impact!
What you’ll be doing
You'll be responsible for taking highly technical information and translating it into clear, user-friendly content that helps our customers master the product.
You'll write customer-facing documentation for our online knowledge base (https://help.passfort.com/), where you'll document everything from using new features to troubleshooting procedures
Additionally, you’ll partner with UX designers to enhance our product; creating content models, contributing to navigation design and ensuring the information we present in UIs is intuitive and our language is consistent.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, including the Product, Design, Engineering, Support and Success teams to understand what content is required, gather feedback, and gain approval.
As part of this role, you'll also follow and contribute to the editorial style guide, ensuring PassFort's voice and tone speaks to our users in a confident, clear, and friendly way. This role will be crucial to increasing product usability, customer satisfaction, and reducing the resource needed to support customers post-sale
What we’re looking for
- Experience driving and delivering high-quality user-facing documentation through a help authoring tool such as Paligo or MadCap Flare, managing the document lifecycle from discovery to measurement
- A self-starter, confident working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with continuous deployment
- Experience working with and writing API and developer documentation
- An understanding of the principles of good user experiences and how UX writing fits into this; you’ll care about accessibility, consistency, localisation and intuitive UIs
- Passion for building high-quality software products
