We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our fast growing RegTech startup, PassFort.

What you’ll be doing


Why has this role come about?

PassFort is expanding its marketing team in order to achieve its ambitious revenue marketing goals and become a category leader in RegTech.


What are some of the key/exciting projects you will be working on?

You will be managing and growing our social media channels (paid, owned and earned), designing and executing events (virtual/in-person), writing compelling copy for integrated marketing campaigns,  increasing our Share of Voice in target media, as well as communicating with existing customers.


What does this look like day to day?

You will be part of a small (but perfectly formed) remote marketing team, who come together as a team in twice-weekly ‘marketing stand-ups’, but mostly work independently.  We are supported by sophisticated marketing technology and tools.

  1. Social media (30%)
  2. PR (15%)
  3. Events (25%)
  4. Demand-gen campaigns (20%)
  5. Customer communications (10%)

What we’re looking for

Behavioural skills:

  • well organised and able to prioritise managing a sizeable workload and to work flexibly as part of a team.

  • is able to ‘roll up their sleeves’ in a fast-paced, SME company
  • used to collaborating with other team members

Must have skills:

  • excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written/oral), and is able to negotiate and network effectively internally and externally.
  • able to write, edit, proof-read and prepare copy.
  • ability to maximise social media channels (paid, owned & earned)
  • ability to manage agencies and creative resources
  • ability to communicate ideas and information clearly to a range of stakeholders on all levels, in writing and verbally.
  • the ability to think creatively, with a curiosity for good stories and the confidence to bring creative ideas to the table.

Must have experience: 

  • a track record of developing and delivering high-quality marketing and communications content in the FinTech sector across a range of media, online and off-line.
  • managing an organisation’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • working with social media analytics and other data analysis tools.
  • event management (virtual/in person)
  • managing freelancers and external contractors (i.e. designers, writers).
  • Bachelor or master degree in Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.


Knowledge of RegTech, knowledge of using a marketing automation system, ideally Pardot
